Methodology

How our trackers are built. Our company directory, funding tracker, and contracts tracker are compiled from a mix of public APIs (government procurement portals, company registries, funding-round databases) and structured extraction from primary media sources such as official press releases, regulatory filings, and named-source reporting.

Verification threshold. A company page is published only once it has at least 8 distinct data fields corroborated by at least 2 independent sources. Entries below this threshold stay in draft until verified.

Update cadence. Trackers are re-checked and re-exported continuously as new source data lands; the site rebuilds on every publish tick.

Reuse. Our data is free to reuse with attribution and a link back to the source page on MILTech Insider.
